Heritage Parts Canada Is Now Online
HeritageParts.ca is Industry’s First Truly Canadian eCommerce Solution for Replacement Parts
TORONTO, Ontario – August 28th, 2017 - Heritage Parts Canada, the country’s leading provider of replacement parts for commercial kitchen equipment, has launched HeritageParts.ca, the first eCommerce website developed specifically for the Canadian foodservice industry.
The introduction of HeritageParts.ca expands customers options to buy parts and access technical information. The online store offers the ability to transact in Canadian currency, without duties or fees. HeritageParts.ca is a dual language site, offering native English and French versions.
HeritageParts.ca is interconnected with Heritage’s Canadian-based Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), enabling customers to interact online. For those customers in the Toronto area, the eCommerce site offers “Counter Pick Up” as a purchase option, allowing customers to order online and pick parts up at the distribution center.
Same as the U.S. online store, customers can view high definition, rotatable parts images with Heritage’s innovative Expert ID360™ viewer. HeritageParts.ca shows real time parts inventory and calculates exact shipping costs. Information, such as parts specifications, “fits model” links, weights, dimensions and an easy access library of thousands of equipment manuals, parts diagrams and schematics, help customers find the parts they need with confidence.
"Developing an online presence, specifically for Canada, was crucial," said John T. McDonough, Heritage Foodservice Group president and chief executive officer. "The Canadian market is unique. Simply extending a U.S. site to Canada does not wholly address the needs of our customers. HeritageParts.ca was created to give customers every possible option for researching and purchasing parts that meet those needs. Whether online, via phone or through email, Canadian customers have true 24/7 access to what they need, when they need it. The new web presence will enhance the unique customer service approach Heritage is known for in our industry."
Heritage Parts Canada and its eCommerce site give customers access to Canada’s largest in-country inventory of 100% Genuine OEM parts, making 60% of the nation’s replacement part needs reachable by one-day ground shipping. Plus, Heritage Parts Canada offers over-the-counter parts pick-up in Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Edmonton and Vancouver. Parts that are not found in Heritage’s Canadian distribution center(s) are backed by Heritage Parts’ extensive inventory in the US and will be shipped directly to the customer, duty free. This powerful combination ensures speed and cost efficiency for customers who need parts right away.
Backed by Heritage Parts Canada’s CSRs, customers are offered a seamless experience of service and parts expertise. The Canadian CSR team is bilingual, speaking French and English, and handle orders directly via phone or email and assist customers who need help with their online purchases, making the offering a coast-to-coast parts buying solution exclusively for Canada.
With more than 800 OEM partners; 31 bilingual parts experts delivering 99+ percent parts identification accuracy; 98+ percent same day shipping performance on in-stock items; and the largest inventory on the ground in Canada, Heritage Parts Canada operates from a strong foundation as the leading provider of 100% Genuine OEM replacement parts.
